It will never be au revoir where Bernard Bensaid is concerned June 22, 2017

A proportion of Great Britain’s population may have chosen to look behind them, just like Lot’s wife did thousands of years ago. To them au revoir may have meant saying goodbye for good. They were shutting the door for good on new business opportunities for the future. If they had heard of it, they may also have forgotten the golden rule towards running a successful business and/or investment property (in particular) portfolio.

It is something that Bernard Bensaid and his associates, otherwise known as The Group, know well. Today, after nearly twenty years in business, they are still applying this golden rule. It is known as taking the long-term view. Taking the long-term view means never having to say good-bye, especially not to good partnerships. Good partnerships are good for business in any case. Adopting the long-term view means staying the course, through thick and thin, in good times and especially in bad times.

Establishing and then maintaining good partnerships are necessary in order to realize the long term view towards running a business successfully and optimizing investment portfolio growth exponentially. This is how compound interest sets in after a patient approach, not necessarily a wait and see attitude, is taken. The Group enters into relationships that will be good. These relationships will be for the long haul too, that is the motive.

It is like entering into a good marriage agreement where agreements will be made and vows will be taken. To be realistic, however, such agreements are never cast in stone. Not the fault of successful business and investment relationships, but markets do fluctuate. Today, there is just no getting away from the volatility of markets across the world. Not even the usually staid CAC is immune to this. But one thing remains certain.

It does not even require the input from an award-winning economist or leading investor to tell you this much. In good times and in bad times, the property investment markets have outlived most others. Bespoke investments in property stocks continue to realize positive growth for clients that put their trust in their investors. Those who are fortunate enough to be able to invest in property directly, whether through institutions such as The Group or through tangibles, tend to realize larger returns.

But even if it is property, it is never as simple as that. Bespoke investors across the board will tell you that it is ideal to always seek out value when investing. It will never be about just realizing profits for the short to long-term. If value is invested in, the potential will always be there to make consistent and solid income-deriving returns. The Group takes this attitude. It is like investing in a good boulangerie run by a hardy baker who knows ever last crumb on his board and ever last fiber of his rolling dough in his kitchen. And the final delivery is always quality.
